This animation was a great opportunity to extend the 3d department's use of particle and procedural animation techniques. Titled Impermanence, the animation plays with the ever changing nature of reality, so particles and procedurals were a natural fit. The music is J. S. Bach's timeless piece Sinfonia.

Dugong Compositing breakdown
It is rare that you get to see the all the work that goes into the final product of what we do. This example is from a recent job we did, which combines live action with a realistic 3d Dugong. You can see the various stages in compositing which Joel (our in house Flame artist) crafted together with plates from the 3d department.

Creation Bee - Updated
We updated bee animation so you could see his side and added some pollen particles on that interact with the bee and his movements. We also did some more work to the grade, and gave it a bit more time.
Hope you enjoy the update.

A cool little in house animation we have been working on. We set ourselves the challenge of creating a photorealistic bee in an architectural environment. It all came together through studying the way bees move, their textures and finally some sweet character animation by Shaun.
Hope you enjoy the update.
