Colour Script

Inspired by the work of pixar, we recently had the chance to create a colour script to showcase the progression of colour/grading through a 30 second live action spot.

This was a fun one that we got to push ourselves with. We really tried to add some texture the flat colours.

Here is a few lovely frames from a recent job we did. The final vid moved slightly away from the original vibrancy of the boards, but it still turned out to be a great piece.

Location Illustrations

We have been working on a project lately that has given us the opportunity to do dome nice illustrations with reference to the work of Riccardo Guasco. I really like the way that he uses intersecting lines to create structure between the resulting spaces, each having a designated colour from a limited palette. The simplification of form whilst conveying emotion has served as a real challenge.
